Abstract

The article provides an interpretation of proverbs and sayings that express the national mentality, thinking, and ideology of the Chinese people and are regularly used in the folk speech. Looking at the map of the world's languages, it can be seen that the languages of the world's nations are closely related to each other. Translating paremiological units from the Chinese language into Uzbek is a laborious and responsible work.

The peoples living in one or another region of the globe are equal in terms of social belonging to the surrounding environment. Also, the question of the effect of existence on human consciousness is related to the natural and social environments in which people live.

The structural forms of Chinese proverbs and sayings are standardized by the hieroglyphic dimensions of the language, and they have their own complexities, including paremiologies, which mostly appeared in the form of stable compounds based on the norms of the ancient Wenyan language. It is less common for them to have two hieroglyphs and three hieroglyphs. It seems that most proverbs and sayings are composed mainly of four hieroglyphs.
