Borrowings are one of the main categories of the vocabulary and are considered one of the important indicators of how rich and diverse the vocabulary and appeal of a language is. Borrowed words arise from people's attempts to reveal the meanings of words in a more complete and perfect way. Urdu vocabulary is also very rich in borrowed words, and the problems of knowing how to use each word correctly and in its place are a challenge for Urdu language learners. mental mistakes can be made. Emphasizing the relevance of the chosen topic, it should be said that today English is the second official language of international communication in Pakistan. There are certain reasons why English has become such an important language: the expansion of trade and economic relations; The role of the United States of America in the world economy and politics; the development of new information and computer technologies, the emergence of the Internet global network, etc. In such conditions, interest in learning English is increasing in Pakistan as well as in the whole world.
- Pakistani and Indian media, Urdu and Hindi are the basis for the globalization of English. For example, lexemes such as "reporter", "police", "cricket" are widely spread through the media, and many English colloquial words are entering the Urdu lexicon very quickly. The study revealed a significant number of English loanwords included in the Urdu language. It is important to analyze these loan words from a semantic and structural point of view, found in newspapers, magazines, articles and Internet sites.
