THE PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF CHINA: THE RISE OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY DEVELOPMENT FACTOR

Abstract

Since 1978, the People’s Republic of China has switched to the “Open Door Policy” to overcome the socio-economic crisis. The country has put an end to various empty slogans that have kept the people in bondage for decades. On the contrary, four modernizations of the rise of society were adopted. These are: Spheres of development of the national economy 1) agriculture; 2) heavy industry; 3) military industry; 4) science and technology. In this sense, the article is focused on studying the scientific and technical aspects of the modernization of the People’s Republic of China thanks to the reforms of recent years. In the course of research, it was proven that the “open economic zones” created along the coast of the People's Republic of China, and scientific approaches to agrarian reform, the correct orientation of foreign investment in the industry and, finally, the developed programs and projects in the process of reforming science and technology are bearing fruit for today.

The purpose of the article is to study the features of Chinese reforms of economic zones, scientific and technological strategy, and the development of the military industry. The object was defined as an analysis of the achievements associated with the “open door policy” in the field of science and technology in the People’s Republic of China.

Empirical materials, observations, comparisons, content and scientific articles published on electronic resources, published projects and programs related to Chinese science and technology were used
