The article analyzes the categorization of the transport sector and its role in the economy, as well as the work carried out in this field in the People's Republic of China and its peculiarities. It is precisely because of the development of the transport sector that this sector is developing proportionately in China, whose economy is developing more and more rapidly today. Because, as we know, China ranks first in the world in terms of population. Today, on the one hand, the numerical aspect of this population is considered as one of the main factors of economic development, and on the other hand, social and economic provision of this population is one of the most urgent tasks facing the government. Therefore, in the last 50 years, China's population, which has been growing at a high rate from year to year, is not only providing food, creating jobs, and creating protection systems for the strata in need of social protection, but at the same time, more than one billion there was also an urgent task of ensuring the movement of more people in daily transport. Of course, today, like other developed countries, China has all types of transport, and the daily use of these vehicles, the level of development of vehicles from the technological point of view, and the quality indicators of service provision are more advanced than most developed countries.
