Abstract

Afghanistan, which is going through one of the longest, most destructive and terrible conflicts of our time, has not lost its unique culture, mentality and traditions despite this. The civil war led to the formal fragmentation of society and the collapse of the state as a political institution of power. One of the significant phenomena of these processes is the absence of a highly effective central government and the apparent split of the country along ethnic lines. The ongoing civil war for more than 40 years characterizes the depth of disagreements and the intensity of instability in the field of interethnic relations. The national question is one of the fundamental and unsolvable problems of the socio-political life of the country. The crisis in this area has its roots in the history of the Afghan State. The study of the ethno-national components of the civil war in Afghanistan will allow us to identify the prospects for its dynamics.
