ОТРАЖЕНИЕ СОЦИАЛЬНЫХ ПРОБЛЕМ ОБЩЕСТВА В РАССКАЗАХ САУДОВСКИХ ПИСАТЕЛЕЙ

Аннотация

This article discusses the topic of family and domestic relations, the relationship between a man and a woman, the place and role of women in society and in the family has always played a big role in the literature of Arab countries, and in particular, the literature of Saudi Arabia. Many stories of the famous modern Saudi writer Ahmad Abdu al-Malik are devoted to this topic.

Raising issues of family relations, the author tries to understand the reasons that contribute to an unhappy family life, or the breakdown of marriage. The writer seeks to link them with the issues of the formation of a new type of Arab family, contributing to a purposeful policy of involving women in the sphere of modern socio–political, cultural and economic life.

The family is one of the sources of social stability of society. At different stages of its development, the family performs various functions, therefore, its value– normative structure also changes. The moral and psychological climate of the family reflects not only the norms and rules of intra–family behavior, but also their consistency with generally accepted models of behavior in society. To date, most marriages in Saudi Arabia are arranged without participation or consent.
