QOSIMJON SODIQOVNING “DEVONU LUGʻOTI-T-TURK” ASARINI NASHRGA TAYYORLASHDAGI YONDASHUVLARI

Abstract

The book “Dīwān Lughāt al-Turk” is an important source in Turkology. To this date, this book has been translated and published into Uzbek and several other foreign languages about 20 times. In particular, it was published for the first time in the Uzbek language by Solih Mutallibov in the 60s of the last century. In 2017, a revised, supplemented, and reformed new edition of this book was published. The author of this translation is a well-known scholar of Uzbek Turkic studies, Professor Kasimjon Sodikov. The article examines the approaches of Professor Kasimjon Sodikov in preparing the work for publication.
