- The article is devoted to the life and activity of Ibn Battuta, an outstanding Arab traveler and geographer of the Middle Ages. During a quarter of a century of wandering the explorer visited almost all countries of the Muslim world, India and China. Ibn Battuta's notes on his visit to Central Asia are of particular interest.
