Abstract

This article explains the lexical features of the names of medicinal plants in the Uighur language. The structure of the names of medicinal plants, one or more components, semantic meaning, syntactic relations of names, the degree of use in Uyghur medicine, the position of terms in linguistic layers, the positive aspects of the names of medicinal plants for the development of Uyghur science are analyzed.
