Abstract

The article examines the main stages of the evolution of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, the main aspects of of its institutional construction as well as the judicial regulations of the SCO, the development of international cooperation of the SCO, including the political and legal significance of its observer status at the UN General Assembly. Along with this, underlined that the future developmpent of the SCO will largely depend on the success of its reform agenda.
