BACKGROUND AND HISTORY OF THE CREATION OF THE NOVEL LO PU “OUTSTANDING WOMAN”

The article considers the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th centuries, which was marked by radical cultural and aesthetic changes, political and social upheavals, social and cultural changes in the life of the Chinese people and statehood, which left a cumbersome mark in Chinese literature, because literature is a reflection of people's life, where truthfulness predetermines the meaning of everything material and spiritual.
The Chinese writer Lo Pu, who belonged to and remained true to the Chinese national traditions and the foundations of Eastern culture, at the same time became the spokesman for the spirit of the transitional times of the whole world, the art of generational change, the rupture of ideologies and the fight against injustice. The contradictory features of the epoch at the turn of the 19th-20th centuries, mentioned above by the crisis situation, found expression in the ideological and artistic searches of this original writer.
The main part of the article is devoted to the enormous impact the revolution of 1905 in Russia had on the rise of the national liberation struggle of the peoples of the East. “The Russian revolution,” wrote V.I. Lenin, caused a movement throughout Asia. The revolution in Turkey, Persia, China prove that the mighty uprising of 1905 left hundreds and hundreds of millions of people in the forward movement ineradicably” . One after another, unions and organizations arose that set as their goal radical changes in the country. Organizations published newspapers and magazines that outlined their programs of action, printed slogans and appeals, sometimes also serious analytical articles.
The value of this article is in the fact that it can be the basis and additional material for further research, and also has cognitive value for literary critics, historians, as well as specialists in Eastern culture.
